Meeting other people with Down syndrome is always synonymous with joy and enthusiasm for the model Sofia Jirau.
One of the most memorable moments for Jirau, during her Alavett Europe tour, was meeting a Ukrainian girl with Down syndrome, a refugee in France.
Once Jirau and the Ukrainian girl, who also happens to be named Sofia, met, it was all smiles, hugs and love.
"In a world of conflict, let's be love," Jirau remarked.
This meeting became a reality thanks to Russian model and philanthropist Natalia Vodianova, who welcomed them both to her home in Paris.
